American Friends of
Collège Cévenol
THE 2009 SUMMER PROGRAM IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY!!
Jul 8th, 2009

The American Friends of College Cevenol is pleased to announce the commencement of its 63rd annual work-study program in le Chambon sur Lignon earlier today, July 8th, 2009.

Led by Directors Kirk Briggs and Elizabeth Schrott, 13 campers from 5 different countries and cultures have assembled on the campus of le College Cevenol in this small French town to make an invaluable contribution of community service while learning about this town's unique history of peace and international understanding.  Projects this year include the reconstuction of a stone slate roof on the school's prayer chapel in addition to some exterior upkeep of the school's dormitory buildings. At the end of the camp the group will break and spend two days in Geneva on a discovery trip before returning home.

The AFCC would like to thank all campers in advance for their participation and looks forward to returning stories of adventure from this year's program.
